Job title: IT Systems Administrator

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Systems Administrator manages various tech support tasks and projects for multiple Agency clients. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, proactive problem-solving, and aiding the IT Help Desk team. Additionally, the role involves producing weekly reports for the CIO and IT Manager to analyze IT trends aligned with KPIs and KRIs, following ITIL and COBIT 2019 guidelines.

In this role you will:

  • Primary support for IT infrastructure services (Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Servers, Networks, Printing, Telecom).
  • Experience with on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (Azure).
  • Work within COBIT/ITIL framework, prioritize tasks, and handle service desk issues.
  • Assist IT team with Agile SCRUM projects.
  • Document resolutions and maintain documentation standards.
  • Daily administration, maintenance, and monitoring of networks.
  • Expertise in network protocols, switches, firewalls, and ports.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, SDWAN, VMware, and Azure Firewalls.
  • Implement Disaster Recovery Backup and Restore strategies.
  • Promptly respond to support requests and manage tickets.
  • Troubleshoot networking hardware and security issues.
  • Maintain IT inventory and configuration management.
  • Develop Network and Server Configuration Management processes.
  • Track team goals and milestones using Agile SCRUM.
  • Aid in Agency Inventory Management and remote management strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date End User Training documents.
  • Train staff in hardware, applications, and software.
  • Assist with Moves, Adds, Changes, system setups, and office moves.
  • Participates in Professional Development opportunities.

What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Must have technical/diagnostic ability along with analytical ability to diagnose problems down to the root cause.
  • Minimum two years experience as a Sr Support Specialist or Systems Administrator with the following:
    • Network support and issue resolution
    • Strong understanding Azure Active Directory
    • Strong understanding Microsoft Servers
    • Cisco Meraki Switch and Wireless Connectivity in an office environment
    • Strong understanding Networking VLANS
  • Office 365 Applications
  • Active Directory account administration in a Hybrid configuration.
  • Experience in working on project teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card OR must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
