Job Title: IT Director

Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Type: Full-time, in office position. Hybrid may be considered.

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to oversee and enhance our global IT operations. The ideal candidate will lead our IT department, ensuring seamless integration and efficient collaboration between in-house Level 1 IT technicians and an external Managed Service Provider (MSP) handling Level 2 and Level 3 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic IT plans that align with the organization's objectives.
• Establish IT policies, protocols, and procedures to optimize performance and minimize risks.
• Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring effective performance and coordination across all levels of IT support.
• Manage relationships with our MSP to ensure SLAs are met and the services provided support the company’s operational needs.
• Ensure monitoring of IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are up-to-date, secure, and comply with international standards.
• Lead the IT team in providing global support, ensuring timely and efficient issue resolution and excellent service delivery.
• Drive IT projects from conception to completion, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
• Make cost-effective arrangements for IT services and equipment.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the IT team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Stay informed about technological advancements and IT best practices, incorporating them into the organization as applicable.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT management, preferably with global and MSP collaboration experience.
• Proven track record of IT strategic planning and execution.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing IT budgets and contracts.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure and network systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations.

Desired Skills:

• ITIL, PMP, or other relevant certifications.
• Experience in change management and business process improvement.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and technologies.
• Multilingual capabilities are a plus, given the global scope of the role.
