Assistant Vice President of Institutional Funding & Partnerships

Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently hiring an Assistant Vice President of Institutional Funding & Partnerships. This position will be pivotal in securing the financial resources and strategic partnerships critical to advancing our mission. This position will lead a dynamic team of professionals in cultivating and stewarding relationships with foundations, corporations, government agencies and other vital institutional partners driving innovative collaborations that amplify our impact and create lasting change.

Required Education & Experience:

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., non-profit management, development, public administration, communications) or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in fundraising and/or partnership development within a higher education or research institution, government agency, or other mission-driven organization.
• Proven track record of success in securing major gifts, grants, and/or partnerships, exceeding fundraising and partnership goals.
• Deep understanding of the institutional funding and partnership landscape, including current trends and best practices.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to fundraising and partnership development.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to appropriately handle and protect confidential information required.
• Availability to work non-standard hours, including attendance at evening and weekend events required.
