The Bake for Good Program is King Arthur Baking Company’s free outreach program for students in grades 4-12. The program has three goals, learn, bake, and share. Students gain basic baking skills by learning the math and science of baking yeast bread. With ingredients and materials from King Arthur, they bake the recipe themselves and then share half of what they bake as an act of kindness. Instruction for the program is available with live demonstrations (in-person at a school or virtual from our studio classroom), or via instructional video and lesson plans for FCS and Culinary classes. Nation-wide, the program serves over 60,000 students each year. In addition, through training, community outreach, and teacher professional development, the Bake for Good team works with key partner organizations and supports larger Marketing Team initiatives.
