House of Hope, a nonprofit organization, is looking for an experienced Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to join our team! The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position will involve ensuring the provision of a safe and therapeutic environment for the clients. Shift currently available (3pm-11pm)
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) year BHT experience preferred.
Two (2) years of experience working in additions/mental health preferred.
Working with the substance abuse population preferred.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Computer literate.

- Monitor the behavior and activities of clients by patrolling the perimeter and dorms, reporting any concerns to clinical staff regarding the health, safety, or wellbeing of clients.
- Provide clients with training or assistance with basic daily living skills such as bathing and grooming as needed.
- Provide positive reinforcement and support clients.
- Monitors and documents clients activities, behavior patterns and medication
- Performs other BHT responsibilities as assigned.
