Both Shifts Available:
  • 2nd Shift – Mon – Weds 4:30pm – 5:00am (Employees work three 12-hour shifts (36 hours) and are compensated for a full 40-hour workweek)
  • 15% differential for 2nd shift
  • Weekend Shift – Friday -  Sunday; 6:00am – 6:30pm
  • 20% differential for weekend shift
Key Responsibilities:
  • MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding on mild steel, working with materials ranging from 20 gauge to 1-inch thickness.
  • High-Quality Fabrication: Produce accurate, durable components following detailed work instructions and specifications.
  • Certification Support: Standard Iron supports you in achieving certifications relevant to your role, such as D1.1 GMAW and D1.3 GMAW.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret welding symbols and blueprints to ensure accurate setups and welds.
  • Tool Mastery: Utilize a variety of metal finishing tools, including grinders and abrasives, to meet our high standards.
  • Safe Equipment Operation: Operate lifting devices such as cranes, positioners, magnets, and hooks efficiently, following all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of MIG welding experience, preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, steady hand, and a true passion for quality welding work.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to handle repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
