Job description

Title: Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Location: Cleveland, OH
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Benefits: Overtime available (not mandatory); on-call rotation for senior technicians; additional details provided during hiring process

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support a manufacturing facility with approximately 30 machines on site. This role supports 2nd shift operations and is critical to maintaining equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. Mechanical aptitude is essential, and candidates with machine or conveyor maintenance experience are encouraged to apply. This is an urgent need, with two openings available due to current staffing gaps on 2nd shift.

Job Duties:
  • Perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting across production equipment
  • Support maintenance needs for approximately 30 machines within the facility
  • Respond to equipment issues during production to minimize downtime
  • Participate in on-call rotation for weekend work when required
  • Support production schedules, including occasional weekend operations
Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical skill set required
  • Machine maintenance experience required (plastics experience not required)
  • Conveyor line maintenance experience acceptable
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to work 2nd shift (2:45 PM – 11:00 PM; flexible start times available)
  • Willingness to support overtime and occasional weekend work as needed
