Job Overview 
We are seeking a dependable Seasonal Machine Operator to support our production team during peak manufacturing periods. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. 
This is a temporary/seasonal position beginning on or around April 1 and lasting no longer than 6 months with employment based on production needs. 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Set up, operate, and maintain machinery in accordance with company procedures. 
  • Perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation. 
  • Monitor equipment during operation and identify malfunctions or product defects. 
  • Troubleshoot issues and adjust machinery to maintain quality and efficiency. 
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. 
  • Follow all safety protocols to support a safe working environment. 
  • Maintain accurate logs of machine operation and maintenance tasks. 
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. 
Qualifications 
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals. 
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and communication. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member. 
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime as needed. 
  • Strong commitment to safety. 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Vocational or technical training related to machine operation. 
  • Experience with machinery used in plastic pipe manufacturing (or similar). 
  • Safety certifications or relevant training.
