Job description

We are currently seeking a Press Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This role is critical to ensuring that high-quality parts are produced according to customer specifications and internal standards.

STARTING RATE: $17-19/Hour

Schedule Options:

  • C Shift - Monday through Wednesday 6:00pm-12:15am alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00pm-6:15am.
  • D Shift - Monday through Wednesday 12:00am-6:15am alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00pm-6:15am.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate press equipment safely and efficiently

  • Review and interpret quality alerts and part specifications before starting a job

  • Perform first-piece inspections and compare against approved first articles

  • Accurately complete production logs, job startup checklists, and operator logs

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions

  • Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any quality issues

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

  • Willingness to adhere to all safety and quality procedures

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Work Environment & Expectations:
  • Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, dirty.

  • Substantial physical effort - extensive reaching, lifting, stretching, bending and twisting.
  • Stop production if the 3-5-10 rule or set process doesn't result in a quality product.
