Machine Operator

 

Starting Rate: $19.75 after 6mo of satisfactory performance, you will increase to $20.25. We have a night shift premium rate of an additional 7.5% on the hour)

Additional Incentives:

  • $100 Safety Shoe Reimbursement
  • $150 Safety Glasses Reimbursement
  • Company will provide all tools necessary
  • 2+ Weeks’ Vacation (years of experience in trade considered)
  • Cross-training provided

Work Hours: Day and Night Shift, 12 hours

Location:  3094 Lester Dr. Kendallville, IN

As our Machine Operator, you will:

  • Operate the machine and leads the overall product outcome associated with machine
  • Ensure that product is produced to customer requirements
  • Ensure that machines are running at the best possible speed while not sacrificing safety or quality
  • Verify and communicates both product standards and work standards to execute production
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities that improve the work centers performance
  • Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
  • Receive training to help advance your career

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to Lift and carry up to 50 pound
  • Must be able to stand for the entire duration of your shift

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift and carry 20 to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
  • Experience – Previous machine experience preferred
  • Must be able to achieve productivity rates
