Description

 Repairs and maintains die casting machines. 

Requirements

  • Repairs electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other equipment related problems.
  • Troubleshoot various makes of PLC.
  • Understanding of Ladder programming.
  • Able to work with up to 480 v.
  • Knowledge of robotic programming and troubleshooting.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on die casting machines.
  • Diagnosis's machine malfunctions and determines need for repairs.
  • May weld broken structural parts using arc-welding equipment.
  • May repair or replace faulty wiring, switches and relays.
  • Maintain inventory of machine parts and fluids.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • May be required to work any shift.
  • Must perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Group Leader.
  • Keep working area clean, organized and picked up (COP) and follow safety regulations.
  • Must be able to endure strenuous climbing, kneeling, standing, pushing, carrying and bending.
  • May be required to mark and scribe dimensions for new machines set in accordance to blue prints.
  • May be required to tolerate excessive noise, smoke and heat.
