General Summary: Operates the machines and equipment related to the machining process with emphasis on safety, quality and productivity.

Essential Functions:

1) Loads and unload parts from the machining line.

2) Inspects machined parts.

3) Conducts preventive maintenance as scheduled.

4) Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Marginal Functions:

1) May operate forklift to move production parts.

2) Audits special parts as designated from die casting.

Working Conditions:

  • Continuous standing.
  • Lifting of components weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • May be required to work from an elevated platform (up to 20" high).

Minimum Qualifications:

1) High school diploma or equivalent required.

2) Ability to lift parts weighing 35 lbs continuously.

3) Ability to meet required scores on assessments.
