Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

This role is an excellent opportunity for a reliable Machine Operator to support a manufacturing facility in Markleville on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will operate production machinery, handle bulk materials, and monitor product quality while working in a hot, fast-paced environment that produces bubble wrap and reflective wrap used at construction sites.

Responsibilities

  • Manually load bulk materials into production machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Set up and operate machines, including making precise adjustments to speed and temperature settings to maintain optimal production performance.
  • Use thickness gauges and other quality instruments to verify that products meet required client specifications.
  • Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent product quality and output.
  • Perform general production and packaging tasks as needed to support overall manufacturing operations.
  • Read and follow work instructions and basic blueprints to ensure correct setup and operation of equipment.
  • Use hand tools and related equipment to perform routine tasks and minor adjustments on machines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to support safety and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper handling of materials and equipment in a hot environment.
