Human Resources Manager

Job Purpose: We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Human Resources Business Partner to join and support the US team. Our team is seeking a driven, responsible and resourceful Human Resources representative to support our HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for providing advice to the employees, producing and maintaining best practice policies and procedures while ensuring that we create the right infrastructure and environment to support the business. Additionally, your role will be to ensure that we have compliance to regulatory frameworks relating to personnel documentation (i.e. Legal, Internal Procedures & Policies). This is an operational role that will require a person who is flexible and able to operate in a generalist capacity. Our Human Resources Business Partner would play a key role in the warehouse development plan, processes and procedures to ensure that legal requirements are met along with creating a positive, fun, structured environment for our team to grow. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide a high level of customer service to assist the HR team and company’s management in HR matters.

• Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day running of the recruitment process including advertising and selection process.

• Develop policies and procedures in- line with legislation, terms and conditions and best practices.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.

• Training and skill development for leadership teams that will help them create a positive workplace culture.

• Ensure all employee information in the HR information system is accurate and up-to-date.

• Manage travel planning for leadership.

• Maintain clear, regular communications with hiring managers regarding position requirements, sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, interviewing strategies etc.

• Consult with leadership in the areas of workforce planning, succession plans, employee relations, performance, development, benefits, communications and overall people effectiveness.

• Build strong relationships with employees and management.

• Be responsible for the administration and upkeep of the HR IT system.

• Undertake any allocated or ad hoc HR projects.

Requirements:

• PHR Certificate preferred

• 3-5 years Supervisory experience

• 5-7 years progressive HR related experience required to include recruitment, employee relations, knowledge of updated legal policies,  benefits administration, time keeping, and safety, preferably within a warehouse/production environment.

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
