Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Western New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance sales, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of insurance sales professionals.
Set sales goals and targets for the team and develop strategies to achieve them.
Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to help them improve sales performance and achieve their individual goals.
Monitor sales metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects to drive sales and expand the client base.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' offerings to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and underwriting, commercial insurance, personal insurance, employee benefits, investment advisory & administrative services to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on sales performance, trends, and forecasts.
Work within and train the team on the efficient use of Sales Force CRM.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in insurance sales, with a minimum of 5 years of sales management experience.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
Proficiency in Office 365 products.
Knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and industry best practices.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Valid insurance license in the state of New York (preferred).
