As a Benefits Advisor with Local Heritage Benefits, you are a lifeline to your local community. We assist seniors in applying for government-sponsored health insurance (Medicare), state assistance programs (Low-Income Subsidy/Medicare Savings Program), pharmaceutical assistance programs/vouchers, and insurance products that complement or substitute their Medicare benefits. We also assist low-income families and small business owners with insurance benefits via the federal health insurance marketplace. (Made possible by the Affordable Care Act.) In addition to this, we help with life, financial, and retirement insurance solutions.
In a typical work week, you can expect to work up to 12 preset in-home appointments with seniors in the community. You will start your day by reporting to our office located off Rayford Road in the Woodlands, Texas. From there you may be calling leads and booking appointments, organizing your daily route, planning for evening-weekend New-
to-Medicare events in the community, attending company meetings/sales training, or heading out to network for connections with other businesses. We provide leads, training, and marketing materials, but your success is determined 100% by the level of effort you put forth towards your daily prospecting activities.
When you help a client sign up for health insurance, Medicare, or any supplemental product youll earn a commission. This is in addition to your base salary. Youll also receive annual retention commissions for keeping clients on the books. Those are paid monthly and will guarantee annual pay raises based on your production. Unlike other sales jobs, we do not offer or endorse one product. Rather we broker between multiple insurance companies to find the best options for our clients. Often, we can add benefits, lower premiums, and even provide money back to our clients. We promote a win-win approach to our sales processes, ensuring a positive experience for our employees and
the communities we serve.
