Part-Time Property Manager

GK Real Estate is seeking a Part-Time Property Manager to oversee the general operations of a shopping center in Henderson, Nevada. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule should be 4 hours per day, 5 days a week with at least one day having hours in the evening. Schedule can be flexible as long as it is communicated.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter that can identify problems and work with the corporate office to correct them.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing ongoing property management, contractor, tenant and lease related issues, including troubleshooting maintenance issues.

Monitoring contractor performance and communicating services needed.

Handling tenant relations.

Conduct parking lot light and lighted sign audits.

Responding to emergency property issues.

Show space to potential new tenants.

Oversee tenant build-outs.

Primary key holder.

Requirements

  Three to five years' experience in retail property management.

Experience reading and understanding leases and vendor contracts.

Experience in building systems and/or property maintenance.

Good communication skills, including weekly reporting to the corporate office.

Excellent time management skills.

Ability to work independently.

Negotiating and contract management experience.
