Job Description: The Technical Account Manager is a pivotal member of our growing partner team. This role is tailored for a dynamic professional who excels in communication, deeply understands our products, and is agile enough to provide prompt and accurate solutions to VAR partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Expertise: Serve as the primary technical information source for our product.
- Sales Support: Equip VARs with comprehensive product knowledge and technical insights to enhance their sales initiatives and customer service.
- Quick-Response Support: Actively participate in the partner team to efficiently address and resolve VAR inquiries, ensuring high partner satisfaction levels.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide essential technical support and troubleshooting assistance, helping VARs resolve operational challenges swiftly.
- Technical Training & Certification: Design and conduct training sessions and certification programs to boost VARs' product knowledge and confidence.
- Liaison Work: Act as the intermediary between VARs and the product development team, facilitating effective communication and collaborative efforts.
- Feedback Collection: Proactively collect and analyze VAR feedback on product features, usability, and customer needs to drive continuous product improvements.
- Product Updates Communication: Keep VARs informed about new product releases, updates, and critical technical information to maintain their competitiveness and preparedness.
- Content Creation: Develop comprehensive product descriptions, manuals, FAQs, and video demonstrations to support VARs' understanding and marketing efforts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in technical account management or customer success, preferably in a technology or AI setting, with a minimum of 3 years.
- Demonstrated ability to drive customer success and achieve technical account management goals in a fast-paced environment across enterprise customers.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to relay complex information quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in writing and editing is essential for creating clear, persuasive, and well-structured product descriptions, manuals, FAQs, and video scripts.
- Proficiency in video creation for visually appealing and engaging content that enhances understanding.
- Familiarity with learning management software platforms to develop and manage training materials and programs.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and with attention to detail.
- Adept at fostering positive relationships with partners and internal teams.
- Rigorous attention to detail to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Ability to travel occasionally to internal events and customer sites and be available for some after-hours or weekend coverage.
