Position Summary
Assist in human resources programs and policies including payroll, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs. Supervises a corporate team of Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS administrative staff and actively strives to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources to meet the strategic goals and objectives. Lead and direct the work of others.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, or other issues.
- Supervises US payroll processing, calculating, and communicating the results and impact to the organization.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Working closely with the Director of HR, monitors overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Monitors the integrity of the Company’s HRIS system processes, ensures compliance and confidentiality is met.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Assist with pay plans and benefits program implementation.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as an HR Manager leading a team of HR professionals, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficient in ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office, with some familiarity with other related software.
- Experience running and managing payroll processing for a multi-state organization.
- Understanding of HRIS software; running reports and extracting data
- Experience in employee compensation plans, including designing job descriptions and benchmarking pay grades, and career pathing- strongly desired.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- People oriented and results driven.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; over 4 years’ experience required.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Acquisition Integration HR activities a PLUS!
Physical Requirements
- Prolong periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to travel by auto and airplane up to 10% of the time.
