Title Financial Corporation (TFC) is seeking an IT Support Technician Level 1 to join our team in Blackfoot, ID. TFC is a family-owned company providing Title and Escrow Services Since 1905. The ideal team member:

  • One to two years of related experience preferably in a remote support environment. Experience with Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and administration is a plus.
  • Has a passion for working with people, is customer service oriented, and has the ability to create meaningful relationships.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues on Windows 10 platforms. Familiarity with Active Directory, Google Workspace, and remote desktop tools is essential.
  • Is very organized with attention to detail and has proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
  • Has the ability to prioritize tasks and to notify others when assistance is needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and support, with a focus on meeting or exceeding user expectations.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to operate a company care or personal vehicle for business purposes with the ability to pass an MVR and background check.

About the position

As an IT Support Technician Level 1, you will be an integral part of our technical support team, providing remote assistance to users located in offices across Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity on Windows 10/11 platforms. You will ensure that all support requests are promptly addressed and resolved to maintain high levels of user satisfaction and operational efficiency.

This position reports to the IT Systems Manager.

Job Duties Include:

  • Provide prompt and efficient technical assistance to users via phone, email, or remote desktop tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows 10/11 computers and peripherals.
  • Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access management, ensuring compliance with security policies and protocols.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot internal software applications used by employees, ensuring compatibility and compliance with company policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including hardware upgrades, installations, and replacements on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Coordinate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and collaborate on projects aimed at improving system reliability and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard company data and infrastructure.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Ability to travel within the community with occasional outside the community for training.
  • Bending, pushing, pulling, crawling into small spaces may be required.
  • Other job duties as needed.
