Front Desk Medical Assistant

Job Summary

Naturopathic Medical Clinic in Chandler is looking for a Front Desk Medical Assistant to join our team. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

We are a busy holistic medical practice that treats a wide range of conditions, acute and chronic. We are looking for someone who is caring, compassionate, vibrant and willing to grow with our team.

Responsibilities and Duties

The position’s responsibilities include the following:

• Greeting and interacting with patients in a courteous and professional manner
• Accurately collecting, updating, and verifying patient information
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in EMR
• Manage busy phones and answering calls in a timely manner
• Manage patient appointment scheduling and daily clinic schedule
• Managing multiple Doctor’s schedules
• Patient check-out: explaining treatment plans and ensuring patient receives proper medications/supplements
• Collecting and processing payments
• Assist in special projects

• Confident in working in a high paced environment
• Comfortable handling financial transactions and giving invoice totals

Job Qualifications:

• High School diploma or higher
• Experience in customer service
• High level of experience with: Quickbooks, Word, Excel, EMR
• Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)

Job Type: Full-time Mon-Thurs 8:30am – 5:00pm, Fri 8:30am – 3:00pm

Salary: $19.00 hr DOE with health insurance and a variety of other wellness perks
