Job Title: Sales Support Associate Intern

Job Type: Intern

Base Location: Fort Benton, MT or Belgrade, MT

Position Description: Our company seeks a personable and organized person to support various sales department activities. As part of your responsibilities, you will perform back office sales operations, distribute samples to potential customers, research and identify new customers, perform data entry and support event preparation. Our ideal applicant can work independently and with direction, has good familiarity with MS Excel and Word and is good communicator.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform sales order processing
• Distribute marketing material
• Product Sample Support
  • Datalogging and tracking of customer sample request
  • Preparation of sales samples
  • Shipping of samples
• Lead Generation
  • Research potential customers in select regions and channels; including retailers, equestrian centers, resellers, brokers and distributers
  • Perform advance research on possible leads attending trade shows we have presence at
  • Perform outreach (cold call) campaigns for targets
• Update and Build out CRM database
  • Review, update and purge current entries
  • Input additional data from lead generation research
• Event support and preparation (trade shows, local event sponsorship, etc)
• Be an effective communicator

Depending on the success during the temporary summer activities, this position has the potential to carry on part time in the fall. It is likely that some job duties would transition to support our e-commerce business through pick and packing of products.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

• Functional Skill Set: Interpersonal, Social Media interactions
• Technical Skill sets: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, NetSuite (CRM), Social Media platforms

Education and Experience:

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in process
• Required: High school diploma
