Job Description
Our client in the Coraopolis PA area is seeking a Maintenance Technician
Duties:
- Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment within the steel foundry environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings related to manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Dismantle equipment for repair or transportation when necessary, and reassemble it at the appropriate time.
- Safely move equipment to designated sites for repair or maintenance to avoid contamination or workplace safety hazards.
- Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts for efficient and safe operation.
- Perform grinding, filing, and welding of machinery parts both on
-site and in controlled environments.
- Replace defective parts of machines or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
- Align machines and equipment using appropriate tools and instruments.
- Test units to evaluate their mechanical operation and conduct necessary repairs and lubrication.
- Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
- Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

- Strong Mechanical background
- Previous experience in Disassembly & Reassembly of Machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and instructions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Strong team player with the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem
-solving and communication skills.
- Preferably, advanced technical or college training.
