Job description

Location: 8030 NICOLLET AVE, BLOOMINGTON, MN, 55420 Area Maintenance is an entry level job that is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on a set schedule including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cleaning and maintenance tasks. This technician follows a schedule throughout multiple restaurant locations to clean and care for equipment to prevent equipment breakdowns.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:1.    Performing planned maintenance on restaurant equipment including but not limited to:      Kitchen equipment      Service equipment      Ice machines      HVAC      Coolers      Freezers      Plumbing      Soda stations2.    Completing basic repairs / replacement of equipment parts, filters, O-rings, gaskets etc.3.    Following the McDonald's planned maintenance calendar and sign off on completed tasks in each restaurant4.    Troubleshooting equipment to look for opportunities'5.    Detail cleaning of equipment6.    Detail cleaning of restaurant interior and exterior7.    Restaurant support in RGR readiness, walk-thru and cleanliness  ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.    Communicate opportunities to the restaurant team2.    Provide coaching to restaurant employees on cleaning and maintenance of equipment QUALIFICATIONS:      18 Years of age or older      Must be able to drive and provide their own transportation      Must be willing to travel and work at any of our 17 restaurant locations      Can work independently or as a part of a team      Great time management skills      Adhere to McDonald's Safety and Security and Food Safety procedures      Adhere to SHSK Foods employee handbook and policies      Proper use of McDonald's cleaning and maintenance chemicalsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:       Stand for long periods of time.      Frequent walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.      Ability to use hand and power tools      Ability to climb ladders      Ability to work in different temperatures, noise levels and weather conditions based on different jobs      May work in close quarters or small spacesBenefits:Competitive pay range $22-$27 depending on experienceCar allowance/ReimbursementPaid Time OffMedical, dental and vision coverageEducation through Archways to Opportunity including opportunities to earn a High School degree, college tuition assistance and English classes as a second languageThis job posting contains some information about what it is like to work in a McDonald's restaurant, but it is not a complete job description.
