General Manager

Kane Partners is searching for a General Manager – a key member of the leadership team - for a packaging production company who will work to improve efficiency, decrease costs and improve safety with an eye towards helping drive company growth and profitability.

· Outstanding character and personal values that are aligned with the company's culture is a must have – with the ability to work with all levels of employees within the organization

· Develop and implement business plans that align with company goals and overall strategic vision

· Build a high performing team and work collaboratively to drive change initiatives within the organization

· Ability to respond quickly to changing demands, processes, and evolving information

· Oversee and drive improvements in facility production to meet short-term and long-term divisional objectives to achieve optimum efficiency

· Drive systematic improvement in operations and other processes like communications, safety, quality, employee engagement

· Ability to Execute targets and achieve results, set and accomplish challenging goals, prioritize and manage tasks effectively, maintain an organized system to monitor progress, overcome obstacles, accept accountability, set standards and responsibilities

· Initiative - Tackles problems and takes independent action

· Seek out new responsibilities, act on opportunities, generate new ideas, practice self-development, and demonstrate a bias for action without being prompted

· Accountable for overseeing plant performance as it relates to safety, cost, machine uptime, quality, waste and overall process reliability, while overseeing employees and fostering effective teams
