Job description

Position Type: Part-Time (Hourly)
Schedule: Weekday Mornings (Monday – Friday)
Compensation: $15.00 / Hour + Performance Incentives
Position Overview
We are looking for an energetic, organized, and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our front desk team. In this role, you will be the primary voice and digital face of our gym. Your main focus will be managing incoming interest, converting new leads into scheduled classes, coordinating community marketing events, and driving brand engagement through social media.
The ideal candidate thrives on the phone, possesses a warm and persuasive personality, and has prior over-the-phone sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Management & Outreach: Focus heavily on outbound calling to contact new leads (via Franchise Ramp and other pipelines) to introduce the gym and successfully book their free intro classes.
  • Customer Service & Follow-Up: Promptly return all operational voicemails and emails. Deliver a high-quality, friendly customer experience when talking directly to members and parents.
  • Accountability & Check-Ins: Cross-reference scheduled rosters to identify past-due accounts, ensuring necessary account conversations happen seamlessly upon check-in or via phone.
  • Retention Calls: Warmly follow up with yesterday's intro attendees who did not immediately sign up to review current promotional opportunities, and call intro no-shows to reschedule.
  • Event Coordination: Outreach, schedule, and organize local community marketing events to continuously generate new local brand awareness.
  • Social Media Management: Create engaging content and actively manage our official social media accounts to highlight gym culture, student wins, and current promotions.

  • Gym Culture & Atmosphere: Maintain a vibrant, immaculate, and high-energy lobby environment. Actively update the daily Welcome Board to greet incoming families by name.
Special Event Sales: Drive revenue by outbound-calling local leads to book birthday parties, seasonal camp spots, and Parents' Survival Nights.
Creative Content Creation: Snap high-energy highlights of morning classes to build community connection through daily local social media channels.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Sales Experience: Prior experience in over-the-phone sales, telemarketing, or high-volume booking environments is required.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to connect warmly with customers and handle objections confidently.
  • Time Management: Highly organized self-starter who can efficiently balance phone calls, administrative data entry, and creative social media tasks during morning shifts.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating CRM software, lead tracking pipelines, email clients, and standard social media applications.
Benefits & Culture
  • Base Pay: Competitive $15.00/hour starting wage.
  • Incentive Structure: Earn additional performance bonuses based on lead conversion rates, successfully booked intros, and enrolled memberships.
  • Consistent Hours: Steady weekday morning schedule leaving your afternoons and weekends free.
  • Impact: Direct ability to shape our gym's community culture from the front lines.
For candidates looking to grow, if the new Marketing Coordinator shows the interest, capabilities, and proven results to transition into a full-time role, we are more than happy to consider that opportunity.
