We have an immediate need for a Legal & Policy Recruiting and Professional Development Coordinator to join our Denver office. The Legal & Policy Recruiting and Professional Development Coordinator will provide administrative support and collaborate with the Professional Development & Recruiting team to implement and administer all talent management strategic initiatives, programs, and processes as follows:

Legal & Policy Recruiting Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in recruitment process of attorneys and policy professionals, including:
    • Maintaining job postings
    • Scheduling candidate interviews, booking conference rooms, and managing travel arrangements
    • Gathering and recording interview feedback
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records in applicant tracking system
  • Assisting with summer associate program, including:
    • Assisting with on campus interview process
    • Assisting with events and programming by coordinating catering, prepping presentation materials, and coordinating IT needs
  • Other legal & policy recruiting duties as assigned, including but not limited to:
    • Maintaining search firm agreement files
    • Compiling annual hiring data
    • Coordinating department expenses
    • Maintaining internal intranet page

Professional Development Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain master documents and department spreadsheets such as associates and policy professionals rosters, training attendance and licensure status
  • Scheduling for the annual and mid-year associate review process; circulate and gather evaluations documents
  • Coordinate logistics for CLEs, including booking rooms and coordinating IT and catering services
  • Assist with CLE application process
  • Assist with orientation of new hires and new shareholders, including booking conference room and coordinating IT and catering services (as needed), requesting list of new hires from HR, maintaining spreadsheet, compiling photos, and creating PowerPoint
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outstanding organization, attention to detail, initiative, communication and problem-solving skills, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills including proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Self-starter who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm or professional setting are preferred

Compensation and Benefits: Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k + match, profit sharing, and vacation/sick/personal time off. In addition, this role pays overtime for hours worked above 40 per week. We are offering a range of salary for this role from $50,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience.
