JOB SUMMARY:

The Legal Recruiting Assistant will support the Boston Office legal recruiting team with a variety of aspects related to entry-level recruiting and the summer associate program.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Entry-Level Recruiting:

  • Upload candidate data into ATS, and ensure data is maintained and accurate.
  • Assist with interviewing logistics including scheduling callback interviews, collecting interview evaluations, and preparing interview feedback packets for review.
  • Assist with candidate follow-up efforts.
  • Assist with planning and execution of offer receptions.
  • Work with law school student groups to execute recruiting initiatives.
  • Assist with all aspects of 1L, 3L, clerk and LLM hiring.

Summer Associate Program:

  • Assist with summer program event management, including creating calendar invitations, tracking RSVPs, and attending assigned events.
  • Prepare materials for summer associate reviews.
  • Conduct check-in meetings with summer associates and respond to inquiries.
  • Additional summer program projects as assigned by Legal Recruiting Managers.
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience at a mid-sized or large law firm, career services or other professional services industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database programs (e.g., FloRecruit, LawCruit, Symplicity); advanced social media (LinkedIn etc.) and web-based programs skills are highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to recognize confidential information and to maintain confidentiality of such information.
  • Ability to work efficiently independently as well as within a team.
  • Highly-motivated with strong organizational skills.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.

Boston: $52,600 - $76,300

Working Conditions

This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
