Schedule Coordinator

The Dan Wood Plumbing, Heating, and Electrical Schedule Coordinator will establish and maintain the service schedule for the designated department technicians, under the advisory of the Scheduling Manager. This role supports the department Supervisors, Service Managers, and Technicians to ensure efficiency and profitability in the daily service schedule. The key responsibilities of the Schedule Coordinator are to be accurately delivered with high quality. This role offers opportunity for growth, and ownership over projects, as well as working alongside a group of friendly, team-oriented administrative staff.

Key Accountabilities

• Schedule service requests for residential and commercial customers
• Administer service schedules for assigned technicians; adapt to schedule delays and emergencies.
• Manage and track job follow up for approved contract work
• Maintain regular appoints for contract agreements
• Build a positive rapport with residential and commercial clients
• Answering and directing phone calls while providing exceptional customer service
• Work cohesively with the other department Schedule Coordinators to establish cost effective and time efficient service schedules

Knowledge of the trades is not required to fulfill this role.

Role Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Completion of some college coursework is preferred
• 2 or more years of experience in a customer service role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills; experience with Microsoft products and Google Workspace
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to time manage based on priority
