We are seeking a talented Controller to join our growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to lead financial operations, drive process improvements, and contribute to our success. This is a new position and will have opportunity for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial close schedule and process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
- Review and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP accounting rules and company policies.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and analysis initiatives.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function to support company growth and scalability.
- Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of previous experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Previous experience in public accounting strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QBO, and other financial software applications.

Pay Rate: $85,000 - $95,000 DOE
