We are seeking a talented Controller to join our growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to lead financial operations, drive process improvements, and contribute to our success. This is a new position and will have opportunity for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial close schedule and process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
• Review and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP accounting rules and company policies.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and analysis initiatives.
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function to support company growth and scalability.
• Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of previous experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Previous experience in public accounting strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QBO, and other financial software applications.

Pay Rate: $85,000 - $95,000 DOE
