This position reports directly to the founding team and offers a clear path to grow into Head of Finance as the organization scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own all core financial models, including revenue forecasting, cash flow, burn analysis, and unit economics.
• Manage relationships with banks, exchanges, payment partners, and other financial counterparties.
• Oversee financial reporting and audit processes tied to regulatory and licensing requirements.
• Lead fundraising support, including data room ownership and investor Q&A.
• Partner directly with founders and senior leadership to drive financial strategy and operational decision‑making.
• Establish scalable processes, controls, and financial infrastructure from scratch.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

• 5–8 years in a strategic finance role within a high‑growth environment.
• Prior experience in a startup or similarly fast‑paced, high‑growth setting.
• Proven ability to build and own financial models end‑to‑end.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure is highly preferred (e.g., exposure to modern fintech operators).
• Comfortable operating with high agency, ambiguity, and rapid iteration.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities.
• Ability to manage external financial relationships and counterparties.
• Experience supporting fundraising processes and investor communications.
• High ownership mindset with the ability to build processes from scratch.

Work Requirements

• Based in New York City or willing to relocate.
• 5 days per week onsite.
• Visa sponsorship available.

Compensation

• Competitive base compensation in the $150K–$200K range.
• Substantial equity aligned with early‑stage ownership.
• Full‑time, onsite role.
