Job description

Our client focuses on building, automating, updating, and delivering better IT solutions for the Federal Government agencies. They are seeking a Network Engineer with virtualization experience. This role is responsible for the design and implementation of a secure network currently on-prem to a hybrid version on AWS.You will troubleshoot and resolve network related issues

If you are proactive and like to stay current with network industry trends and emerging technologies you will thrive here.
Ideal Network Engineers will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Experience working with hybrid networks.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
- Strong knowledge of commercial cloud platforms- AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Skilled with networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, VPCs and firewalls- both on-prem and virtual.
- Confident in troubleshooting and problem solving.
An active TS/SCI + FS Poly level government clearance is required. Work is 100% on-site in Reston, VA. Salary is up to $200K for highly qualified candidates.
