Job description

WAGO is seeking a detail oriented Mechanical Assembler to work under direct but limited supervision, this position is responsible for building din-rail terminal block assemblies according to required specification.

WAGO offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, company-paid insurance plans-life, AD&D, short-term disability and long-term disability, and a retirement 401k plan.

Experience Required:  

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required 
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word and Excel 
  • Ability to read and write in the English language 
  • Solid oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail 
  • Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information 
  • Experience with hand tools and measuring devices preferred 
  • Perform assignments by established deadlines and manage time effectively 
  • Ability to work independently or with other members of the manufacturing team 

Job Duties: 

  • Building of all din-rail terminal block assemblies according to specification listed in drawings and instructions 
  • Ensure documented procedures are followed and updated 
  • Comply with WAGO Corporation and OSHA safety policies 
  • Perform all procedures set by ISO9001:2015 pertaining to Mechanical Assembly 
  • Must be able to lift 40 Lbs. 
  • Once trained  
  • Cut and punch custom din-rails to required specifications 
  • Assist in all material handling procedures, from product pulling to final inspection 
  • Operate ink jet machine, marker plotter and print markers 
  • Perform In-process and final inspection of products built with-in the mechanical assembly area 
  • Assist in training of any new or temporary employees in the procedures of mechanical assembly
