WAGO Corporation is seeking an individual to coordinate sales and marketing activities to existing distribution and OEMS. This position requires a highly motivated and organized self-starter who can quickly develop and maintain knowledge of WAGO products and solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Four year technical degree, two year technical associates degree and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Sales experience in electrical, automation or related field, in addition to working with distribution, preferred
  • Proficient with a computer and Windows based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sales plans across a geographic territory as defined by management.
  • Meet/exceed Regional sales quota of WAGO products as established by management.
  • Make direct OEM/MRO sales calls, joint calls with Representatives and Distributors on a regular basis to achieve defined quotas.
  • Provide forecasts and budget updates to management as required.
  • Follow-up on all leads and quotations within assigned territory and/or account portfolio.
  • Provide timely expense reporting, sales call activity and opportunity tracking.
  • Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of WAGO products, applications, and technology for the purpose of product sales.
  • Independently and/or in conjunction with management, develop and implement effective Mutual Action Plans with assigned distributor locations.
  • Conduct training sessions at authorized distributors, system integrators and customer sites.
  • Work independently or in conjunction with management to plan, document, measure and grow assigned distributor locations.
  • Where applicable, work with Strategic Accounts / Vertical Market Sales Team and WAGO Marketing to implement global/national account strategies to achieve program objectives.
  • Become proficient on all control cabinet, machine mounted and industrial networking applications and corresponding solutions, to the point of being considered a consultant by the market.
  • Be aware of competition and market trends as related to territory and industry.
  • Coordinate trade shows and conferences.
  • Must be able to travel via airplane.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs (sample, demos, literature).
  • Must be able to travel overnight 0-30% as dictated by assigned territory.
  • Travel to corporate headquarters and areas outside of territory will also be required on a periodic basis.
