WAGO Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. Working under the direct supervision of the Customer and Order Services Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued clients. In this role, you will handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and process order requests regarding our innovative products and services. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless workflow and deliver exceptional customer experience.

Experience Required:
  • High school diploma and two years' experience in customer service or related fields.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good organizational, oral, and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate ability to deal with customers politely and tactfully via phone and e-mail.
  • Perform assignments by established deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • A flexible attitude with proven experience of working independently or with other members of a sales team.
  • Experience with SAP systems implementation and/or process preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide and assist Director of Customer Operations and Customer Service Manager on various sales related tasks and projects.
  • Provide customer service, sales and technical product support to direct customers, distributors, WAGO Regional Sales and Zone Managers, as well as support for Order Services & WAGO Canada.
  • Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products to improve product-related sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Receive requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers and distributors.
  • Use SAP system to retrieve customer information, job status updates, stock and purchase order status and pricing.
  • Achieve and maintain rapport with customers and work to give them the best possible service. Deal with customers concerning matters which require some tact and resourcefulness.
  • Contact with other personnel including Product Managers, Warehouse, Accounting, Quality, Automation, Engineering and Manufacturing departments to improve workflow, customer service and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Under the ISO Quality Manual - understand how to access it and properly utilize it. Work with the Quality Department to maintain the procedures related to Sales.
  • Ensure compliance with WAGO's safety policy and OSHA. All current or new procedures must comply.
