Job description

About the role:
As a Instrumentation & Control System intern, you will be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of technical products and systems.
You will report to the Safety & Reactor Systems Engineering Director and be located at our New Stanton facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support creation of hardware design documentation such as cabinet layout drawings, cable/wiring schematics, and PCB layout/schematics
  • Support prototype testing for new PCB designs
  • Support development of system and hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control systems for new plant and upgrade projects
  • Support creation of documentation for procurement and manufacturing
  • Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence
  • Support development of test procedures and execution of functional tests

Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering degree
  • Completed Sophomore year of college

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
