Executive Assistant to the President
- Full-Time
Huntington University has an opening for Executive Assistant to the President. The Administrative Assistant to the President provides administrative support to the President.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ, a desire to serve others, and a commitment to the mission of Huntington University.
- High degree of proficiency in office procedures, computer hardware and software (Microsoft Office).
- A high level of organizational ability.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in typing, dictation, proofreading, telephone, filing and other clerical skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the President’s calendar and tickler file
- Coordinate all travel arrangements for the President
- Organize special events and meetings related to the President’s Office.
(e.g. President’s receptions and VIP entertainment) - Coordinate arrangements for all Board activities
- Semi-annual Board meetings
- Trustee retreat
- New Trustee orientation
- Board committee meetings
- Serve as receptionist in President’s Office
- Manage the President’s Office budget
- Serve on the Commencement Planning Team
- Maintain records of the Board of Trustees
- Create and distribute Board agenda, reports, directory, and correspondence
- Coordinate and plan the Visiting Executive Seminars
- Coordinate the Ag Advisory Council meetings
- Supervise the student workers in the President’s Office
- Provide general secretarial/clerical support for the President’s Office
(filing, typing, contact reporting, etc.) - Other duties as assigned by the University President

Work Schedule: This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position.
