LMS Administrator
ACLC is seeking a strong LMS Administrator for contract work with instructors and instructional designers to help DoD and Government clients develop and expand their eLearning capabilities and modules.
The successful candidate will have strong project technical skills and be comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing across projects. He/she will manage the maintenance of a Learning Management System and identify and address technical problems and updates across a variety of digital learning products. The LMS Administrator will be working closely with a variety of team members and key stakeholders and must have strong communication and collaboration skills. He/she must be results-driven and a productive team player.
Position Type:
Full Time/On-Site - SECRET Clearance REQUIRED
Dashboards:
Complete updates for training dashboards in response to due dates, course requirements, and programmatic goals
Update and customize notifications
Reporting:
- Run analysis and reports on external training, training completions, scheduled offerings, and metrics within the LMS using Excel and Pivot Tables
Course Assignments:
- Enroll individuals and cohorts into identified courses.
- Send notifications to users for course assignments based on performance criteria
- Manage user groups and hierarchies
- Upload, monitor, and update course files
- Activate and deactivate courses
Course Content Maintenance:
- Maintain online courses using Captivate, Storyline, and HTML
- Provide course usability testing
- Collect, present, and use data to inform further improvements
- Analyze and ensure course presentation and LMS functionality meets high-quality standards
Troubleshooting:
- Troubleshoot course functionality issues and resolve more complex or technical issues
- Provide technical support to instructors, ISDs, and users
Dashboards:
- Complete updates for training dashboards, in response to due dates, course requirements, and programmatic goals
Administrative:
- Conduct cleanup and maintenance of the course catalog
- Support curricula development and tracking
- Provide data clean up and maintenance
Qualifications:
- 3+ years' work experience in a related field; a combination of education and experience will be considered
- 3+ years' knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite (emphasis on Excel and SharePoint); HTML; and Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, and/or other Learning Management Systems
- Working knowledge of Adobe Captivate and other eLearning products
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities
- Proven project management and time management skills
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or other related areas (preferred)
- Instructional Design and eLearning Development (preferred)
- Secret security clearance (REQUIRED)
