Human Resources Manager Manufacturing

The Human Resource Manager role is critical in providing excellent internal employee support, driving Human Resources processes and procedures for the manufacturing plant, and working with the manufacturing management group.

The HR Manager will manage human resource functions, including recruitment, new hire onboarding, employee offboarding, employee relations, compliance, record keeping, and audit support.

Responsibilities:

· Works with managers to coach and handle disciplinary issues, work-related conflicts, and performance concerns.

· Maintain strong confidentiality practices.

· Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Escalate complex employee relations issues to management.

· Planned and conducted new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward company goals; managed the onboarding process.

· Updates the appropriate company labor information, job requirements, and job descriptions for all positions within the Company.

· Facilitate the termination process, including completing separation documentation, conducting exit interviews, and coordinating the return of company equipment.

· Investigates and advises both management and team members on employee relations issues.

· Consult with Management on termination decisions.

· Participates in employee termination discussions.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

· 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferred in manufacturing or industrial company environment

· Bachelor's degree required

· Demonstrated experience in all areas of Human Resources

· (staffing/retention/onboarding/benefits/payroll/systems/coaching, etc.)

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong Microsoft Office Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

· Sage HRMS Experience
