DESCRIPTION:

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (On-Site)

The Digital Advertising Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all digital advertising and affiliate programs for our ZAGG and mophie brands. We are looking for a passionate marketer who seeks to build powerful connections with consumers so they see us favorably as they become aware of us, consider, purchase, and repurchase our products, and advocate for our brand to others. This role provides business insight and strategy for ZAGG’s marketing team in order to acquire new customers, drive traffic, meet revenue & ROI targets, and other key performance indicators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

35% Business Strategy

  • Research, build, and manage comprehensive short term and long-term advertising strategy and media mix to achieve business goals
  • Understand our customer and their needs to develop compelling effective marketing efforts along the purchase funnel to continuously improve on our customer acquisition strategies
  • Participate in overall marketing go-to-market planning and create advertising plans to maximize product launches
  • Research new tools and technologies to stay at the forefront of the latest developments in digital marketing/advertising and implement new digital media ideas and applications
  • Accountable for growth and optimization of areas of responsibility

45% Agency and Advertising Management

  • Manage advertising agency to optimize the company's advertising presence across PPC, social, video, and other levers
  • Define budget, CPA, ROAS and other thresholds for all campaigns
  • Define content strategy and deliverable needs/asks of our creative team to meet advertising objectives for campaigns and product launches in line with each platform’s best practices
  • Create media specific documents such as media plans and playbook, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functions as required
  • Research and implement new opportunities in search and display
  • Review Amazon advertising recommendations and performance and performance from our agency managing our Amazon business
  • Manage an affiliate marketing agency to optimize the company's affiliate program
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations for the affiliate budget and the commission structure
  • Initiate and execute new affiliate campaigns to explore marketing opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting and insights on performance.

10% Project Management

  • Attend weekly meetings with marketing team
  • Assist in managing an integrated, Omni-channel promotional and product launch calendar.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that promotional messaging is consistent across all channels

  • Analyze, interpret, and share KPI metrics with senior management.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial

 

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in areas like Business, Advertising, or Marketing.
  • 8+ years of direct work experience in digital marketing and affiliate marketing. Consumer products industry experience highly preferred
  • Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
  • Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with digital advertising and affiliate partners, or off-site personnel/management
