RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Human Resources Manager must take part in division strategic talent management and development.
- Must ensure timely recruitment and placement of quality new hires and internal candidates for positions in a cost-effective manner to meet operational demands and objectives.
- Must advise and communicate employee coaching and counseling, both within the warehouse environment and the division staff.
- Must counsel on adherence to employment law, provide solutions, investigate charges, and maintain Title VII compliance and EEO guidelines.
- The Human Resource Manager is expected to lead and develop HR department staff and maintain departmental expenses to a balanced budget
- Must coach and counsel new leaders as they address performance problems.
- Leave compliance as related to FMLA and ADA.
- Must have strong written communication skills, Solid presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Must participate and lead all employee relations issues, maintaining regulatory and contract compliance, local coordination of benefits, payroll processing, performance review and compensation assessment for exempt and nonexempt employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Human Resource Manager must have a strong knowledge of all federal and applicable state employment laws.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR or management
- Must be a local candidate and willing to travel, when needed
- Must have 5 years HR Generalist experience in a management role.
- Must have experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
