Director of Procurement

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Procurement to lead our procurement team. This role is instrumental in upholding our commitment to sourcing the best quality products while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with company goals and values.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve excellence in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure high-quality products at competitive prices.
• Oversee the procurement process from vendor selection to contract negotiation and supplier performance evaluation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and culinary teams to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to procurement activities.

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of success in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and team development.
• Familiarity with food service industry practices and regulations is preferred.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools is a plus.
