We currently have an opportunity available for a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager. This role involves providing crucial support for the daily operations of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of HR practices, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Operate in a quick-paced office environment with 800 employees worldwide requiring engagement across all levels within human resources.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing relevant federal and state human resource regulations concerning policies, procedures, record-keeping, and employee relations/investigations.
- Manage employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Communicate with all levels of associates at global locations, establishing oneself as a valuable resource for addressing any human resource needs.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support organizational goals and objectives in alignment with best practices.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as a representative of Derrick Corporation
- Cultivate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for employees during all benefit or HR-related interactions.
- Stay updated on industry developments by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in relevant professional associations.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
- SPHR, PHR, or SHRM certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a large organization with 800+ employees, either as a Human Resources Generalist or Managerial role.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time globally.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and seamlessly switch between tasks as they arise.
- Proven record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines while upholding attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to work independently, making decisions effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of State and Federal employment regulations and guidelines
- Flexibility with schedule to accommodate time differences.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality standards.
- Prior or existing familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
- Elevated level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Approachable demeanor conducive to collaborative work with all employees and departments.
