Job Description

Our client, a financially stable industry leader with over 1500 employees across multiple states, is seeking a dynamic Corporate HR Director to drive strategic initiatives and foster a culture of excellence. Committed to growth, our client is elevating their HR function to support organizational goals and cultivate a strong workplace culture with this newly created position. They value innovation, collaboration, accountability and integrity, and are looking for a talented leader who shares these values to lead the people function supported by a team of HR professionals within the corporate office as well as individuals in various plant locations.


As the Corporate HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. Working closely with senior leadership and plant/operations managers, you will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive HR programs. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, making it ideal for a leader who thrives in a results-driven environment.


What you will do:

  • Lead the HR team in the corporate office, with dotted line oversight of plant-level HR professionals
  • Develop and administer HR policies and programs to support organizational goals
  • Communicate benefit-related changes and oversee annual benefit program renewals
  • Foster a customer service-oriented culture within the HR department
  • Manage performance evaluation processes and employee relations programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts and supervise recruiting staff

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or in industries with a high number of hourly employees
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR programs
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) desired
