Walmart Sales Operations Manager

The Walmart Sales Operations Manager will be a key member of our Walmart team that will help liaise with all departments to manage our business operations and support from a consumer centric perspective. They will be responsible for helping build out key processes and standard operating procedures within this department to help drive sales with strategic customer management. This person will be a main point of contact for our internal and external teams to manage account/vendor requirements and setup, direct import setup, item maintenance within our various portals, pricing setup and audits, order management from creation to manufacturing and shipment. They will help manage our customer relationships within our Walmart account and ensure they are working cross-functionally to drive and grow our business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Help Manage team to set expectations, train and develop team, manage performance, set strategy, and motivate and develop team
- Help build out processes and standard operating procedures in our Walmart account to ensure the team is successfully managing the business and operations
- Consistently assess workload planning and team, identifying opportunities to streamline and improve
- Drive the order management process to set customer requirements and expectations; setting timelines, costs, and operational solutions pro-actively to appropriate departments
- Confirm Vendor Guides for new customer onboarding and continued compliance of customer requirements. Monitor and communicate across the organization and maintain in the system
- Follow up with the Sales Team & manage account coordinators to existing and upcoming orders for the season
- Act as key partner for finance in the month end reconciliation; monitoring plan versus actuals and following up on transactions/order input
- Ensure that account coordinators are entering correct order information in our systems and the system; following up on open orders and communicating progress and status with stakeholders
- Pull and review reports from order management system and distribution centers to ensure accuracy and plan out customer management; identifying KPIs, cost levers and using the data to make recommendations
- Ensure pricing is updated by factory in system; and communicate to account coordinators/stakeholders for alignment, maintaining information in Retail Link
- Communicate and coordinate change of sourcing or factories – updating systems, pricing, etc.
- Help manage inbound/outbound coordination from factories, sales teams and freight forwarders to ensure smooth flow of merchandise to customers; working with the team to pro-actively secure supplies and vessel space
- Verify and ensure all shipping documents are up to date
- Touch base with all stakeholders and liaise with external partners on a regular basis for alignment
- Build and maintain strategic relationships and contacts in the industry to continually identify key opportunities for improvement and industry trends
- 4-6 years management experience in sales, customer service, operations, logistics and/or account coordination
- Experience with systems, solutions/SaaS, freight forwarders, customers, and 3PLs
- Experience with Retail Link and excel mandator
- Knowledge and experience of customs, particularly the Canadian and American Border agencies
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proven track record multi-tasking in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work effectively across different levels and departments within the organization
- Pro-active self-starter, disciplined, solution-oriented with a strong attention to detail
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office, EDI, ERP systems, NetSuite experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or secondary degree a plus
