Job Description

Logistics Receptionist in Torrance

South Bay based logistics company has an exciting opening for a receptionist!

The general responsibility of the job is to provide customer services via phone or in person and be the point of the contact for all departments including but not limited to sales, operations, vendors, and customers.

This is a contract to hire position with a target salary of $17.00/hour. Schedule would be Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Essential Duties:

· Answering phones and emails in a professional, but timely manner.

· Communicating with customers, agents, and stations as needed.

· Processing requests including but not limited to address change, customer returns, doc check requests, etc.,

· Tracking and tracing of shipments

· Communicating with sales and customers regarding any issues

· Researching shipments for corporate and accounting request

· Other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service

· Intermediate in MS Office (Word, Excel)

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· High School Diploma or GED

· Experience in logistics preferred.
