Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine's Sanford Center for Aging invites applications for a Senior Coordinator, Program Evaluation and Data Analytics. The Senior Coordinator, Evaluation and Data Analytics, who will also serve as an Associate Director of the Sanford Center, will lead several critical functions within the Center, including: serving as the Project Director/Principle Investigator for multiple, concurrent externally-funded program evaluation research projects, supporting data management and reporting for the Center's portfolio of community programs, managing the Center's clinical research activities, supporting the Center's learning management system, supervising graduate research assistant(s) and engaging in independent aging-related scholarship. The position's core functions will include working with the Center director in supporting all aspects of design and implementation various research and evaluation projects. Specific activities may include, but are not limited to, internal and external research and program evaluation planning, survey development, psychometric analysis, participant recruitment, data collection, data analysis and dissemination of findings, including preparation of peer-reviewed publications and national conference presentations.

The ideal candidate will, in addition to the qualifications below, have demonstrated ability to function independently, facility with learning management systems and support for age-inclusive data collection mechanisms, and ability to balance the needs of various stakeholders operating on established timelines/deadlines. Critical skillsets include the ability to establish reasonable expectations and boundaries in light of stakeholder requests, ability to disseminate information in clear, understandable way to a broad spectrum of stakeholders, and provide supportive, practical guidance and communication to partners.

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree and three years of related professional experience OR

Doctoral Degree and two years of related professional experience

Related Experience: Significant training and experience in program evaluation, data collection, data management, statistical analysis, and data reporting; involvement in academic scholarship, including seeking grant funding, contribution to peer-review literature and national conference presentations

Total Compensation

The total compensation package includes a competitive salary, moving allowance (if applicable), a rich retirement plan, health insurance options that include dental and vision, life insurance, thirty (30) days of sick leave provided upon start date and two (2) days of sick leave accrued per full month after the first year of service, two (2) days of annual leave accrued each full month, along with many other benefits.
