Clearance: Secret w/SSBI
Essential Functions:

Under general supervision, manage and operate a virtualized Microsoft environment.
Perform daily system checks, review and respond to events reflected in various management tools, perform server patch management.
Notify Government representative of issues involving performance of the operating environment.
Conduct system audit reviews and perform maintenance functions as required to ensure system health.
Coordinate efforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve incidents or events related to systems and supporting infrastructure.

Technical Skills Required:

Active Directory
Clustering,
Domain Name System, and
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
Knowledge of and adherence to change control standards and procedures, problem resolution, and troubleshooting techniques,
Use of remote server management tools.

Pre-Requisites:

U.S. Citizenship
Current DoD Secret clearance
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work is performed in 24/7 environment and must be able to work second/third shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Five to nine (59) years of experience required.
Must possess VMware Certified Associate (VCA) certification.
Must obtain VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification within 6 months.
Certified in accordance with DoD 8570.01M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II - Security+
