The Senior HR Program Manager at C.H. Robinson will manage and execute complex, strategic HR programs. This role will partner closely with Talent Management Consultants, Instructional Designers, DE&I team members, HR Business Partners, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and overall success for our suite of solutions. In this role, you will execute enterprise and global HR program initiatives, brining knowledge of best practices and trends, strong program/project management, and consulting skills. You will play a critical role to drive long-term, scalable solutions through process improvement, and change management.

This is a hybrid position that will allow flexibility to work from the office and home, where you are most successful getting the job done.

Responsibilities:
  • Use HR knowledge to implement programs that are integrated into all of HR's talent strategies and proactively plan for future integration as new strategies are developed
  • Apply understanding of adult learning principles with participants and managers to ascertain satisfaction levels, evaluate progress, and enable reinforcements post program
  • Manage and oversee multiple/large-scale, complex HR programs
  • Manage the project timeline and milestones for program implementation ongoing
  • Project manage the implementation and ongoing service delivery of programs which includes working closely with project managers, internal communications, facilitators, guest speakers, instructional design, and operations to ensure adequate preparation occurs and finalized materials are made available
  • Create a positive experience for all stakeholders involved in the program lifecycle through proactive planning and communication
  • Provide ongoing communication to program participants for various program elements, including pre-work, post-work, session logistics, and assessments
  • Communicate program progress and facilitate project-related meetings to meet deliverables; escalate quickly as necessary
  • Proactively partner with HR stakeholders to execute a program implementation strategy, with the intent of operationalizing programs to the extent possible
  • Build rapport with program team and customer stakeholders
  • Serve as the single point of contact and be accountable for all program related activities and requests
  • Launch and manage participant completion of assessments for programs
  • Manage the participant selection process for programs in collaboration with HR Business Partners
  • Manage all aspects of the program experience to ensure a positive experience for all participants
  • Manage program budget and deliver programs on time
  • Monitor and analyze metrics and feedback from program participants and facilitators to recommend solutions for continuous improvement of the program experience
  • Leverage data to provide broad talent analysis and insights to drive momentum for talent processes and initiatives that meet business needs and drive growth
  • Partner in the creation of change plan(s) and act as a change agent while implementing programs
  • Identify updates or enhance programs across our suite of solutions to continuously improve the right experience
  • Create and implement processes across our suite of solutions, which includes documenting the process, defining roles and responsibilities, and following up on the execution of the process
  • Indirectly lead or mentor project team; provide coaching and support to junior level employees on projects and initiatives

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of experience managing and executing business-related or HR programs or projects; with the proven ability to manage multiple programs/projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (domestically)
  • Ability to work flexible hours (some weekend/late hours may be required)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 1+ year of experience executing leadership assessments
  • Project management and coordination experience, preferred experience in agile methodologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Experience working and thriving in a continuous improvement environment
  • Experience and comfort in dealing with ambiguity and able to deliver with minimal oversight
  • Ability to develop and manage relationships and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders across all levels of the organization to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Excellent consulting, influencing, coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Strong executive presence and high level of professionalism; experience in executive level communication for program-related communication
  • Ability to analyze data to infer insights and make data driven decisions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to handle sensitive matters with judgment, tact, and diplomacy
