Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, you will join a team of ambitious communications professionals who are passionate about telling the Stitch Fix story and why we are unique. Our goal is to engage, educate and inspire people around Stitch Fix's vision to become the global destination for personalized shopping, styling and inspiration.

Externally facing teams drive the delivery of our communications strategy and narratives through media relationships, at events and on our owned channels. This role will be tightly integrated with our strategy, merchandising, product, algorithms and engineering functions, and expected to be in sync with our partners in marketing and communications

About the Role

As the Corporate Communications Manager [Product and Technology], you will be a dynamic, creative, and strategic communications specialist responsible for creating and delivering Stitch Fix's innovation storytelling strategy. In partnership with the Director of Corporate Communications, you will set communications strategies that align with business goals and work with internal partners and our agency to own and drive pivotal product launches, build strong 'always on' plans throughout the year, and work with key reporters to land impactful stories that have a measured impact.

  • Use your deep tech and product communications experience, excellent media relationships and writing skills to help the story of Stitch Fix's client centric innovations
  • Work closely with our data science, product and engineering leaders to drive our external communications strategy and overall narrative as a leader in retail technology
  • Craft unique storytelling angles that break down complex technologies and position our executives as thought leaders, experts and innovators
  • Ideate, help set the strategy for, and drive the execution of our representation of key business milestones including, new product launches, new data science advancements and new partnerships
  • Be responsible for coordinating and creating content, briefing books, media materials and handling targeted media outreach
  • Deliver strategically consistent content recommendations and support (and in some cases drive) the development of content across our company blog, newsroom and LinkedIn
  • Own the delivery of impacts and results of the teams' work to internal stakeholders, including cross-functional partners, executive leadership and our board of directors impact of our work to cross-functional partners, MGMT leadership and BOD

  • Y ou have 5-7 years of experience in communications and public relations experience, with relevant experience in product and tech comms

  • You're an outstanding storyteller with sound judgment, including excellent all-around communication skills
  • You can leverage your strong relationships across the technology and business media landscape to foster connections, gain insight and ultimately deliver compelling communications for Stitch Fix
  • Y ou demonstrate strong willingness to win as a team, have a growth mindset, and are willing to debate and commit to move forward together
