Vice President Finance

360Sweater (Naked Cashmere) is a luxury omnichannel apparel retailer that is looking for a detail-oriented, number-crunching, VP of Finance to lead our finance team. We are looking for someone who can thrive in a dynamic, face-paced environment and wants to be part of a growing brand and help take it to the next level! This role reports directly to the CEO.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation
• Lead the Company’s annual budgeting process and prepare ongoing P&L forecasts based on business and strategy changes
• Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs
• Prepare financial models and analysis to assess the viability of new business initiatives
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requests for the Company’s primary lender, including covenant compliance calculations
• Prepare the Company’s monthly financial reporting package which is distributed to the Board of Directors and investors
• Responsible for the preparation of the Company’s inventory costing and the management of these costs in the Company’s ERP system (Full Circle)
• Provide workpapers and supporting schedules to the Company’s CPA for annual income tax return preparation
• Manage all banking and insurance relationships
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget with department heads
• In partnership with the Controller, develop and maintain necessary accounting policies and systems
• Supervise the Controller and finance team regarding:
  1. Monthly, Quarterly and Year-end Financial closes
  2. Balance sheet reconciliations
  3. Sales tax compliance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of operations, including production, logistics, warehousing and sales
• Define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes.
• Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field
• 10+ years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of management experience. CPA a big plus!
• Experience within the apparel/E-commerce industry is preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is a requirement
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
• Customer service-oriented person who focuses on quality communication and attention to detail
• Forward-looking thinker who can articulate the need for and help to implement process improvements
• Confidentiality, diplomacy, reliability and flexibility are requirements for success in this role
