Destinationone Consulting is proud to partner with a leading commercial general contractor in the search for an experienced Project Manager to lead healthcare and hospital construction projects in Reno, Nevada.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our client is seeking a Project Manager with proven experience delivering hospital expansions, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades within fully operational healthcare environments. This role requires strong leadership across budgeting, scheduling, client relations, and project execution, with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in building within active acute care facilities.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

This opportunity is strictly focused on acute care hospital construction. Candidates with experience limited to clinic, dental, or small TI (tenant improvement) projects will not be considered.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for hospital construction projects from preconstruction through closeout<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and project profitability<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Lead project planning for hospital expansions, phased renovations, and upgrades in active facilities<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Work closely with owners, consultants, and healthcare stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Oversee Project Engineers, Superintendents, and project teams to ensure successful execution<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Monitor project performance, costs, risks, and progress against schedule<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Ensure seamless transition from pre\-construction to field operations<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Lead regular client and stakeholder meetings<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Develop strategies to deliver projects on time and within budget<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Maintain strong communication across all project stakeholders<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>\n

    • Minimum 5-10+ years of experience in Project Management with a Commercial General Contractor<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Mandatory experience in acute care hospital construction, including:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n

      • Hospital expansions<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Major renovations in operating hospitals<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Phased construction within active healthcare environments<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/ul>\n
        \n Strong understanding of:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>

          • Proven ability to manage large, complex, multi\-phase projects<\/span><\/span><\/span>
