Job description
Job Summary
The Product Specialist - Energy Storage will provide support to Product Managers managing Vertiv's Energy Storage product portfolio. This role will provide opportunity to analyze sales & orders data, preparing for a business review, assistance in market intelligence gathering, and customer demos/presentations. The role will provide a strong foundation in the Energy Storage market and development opportunity to Product/Offering Management.
This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Delaware, OH location.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to product offering team.
- Gain deep insight into the market and business trends and evaluation of Vertiv current business results.
- Consolidate and review with the offering team monthly business results and outlook taking into consideration, booked orders, pipeline view and other related information.
- Support the offering management team decision making process to ensure Vertiv's ability to bring appropriate new products to the market in the shortest time possible.
- Research market trends, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Track and provide offering trend analysis and insights to the Product Marketing and Global Offering Management Teams.
- Support product development related activity in collaboration with offering management and marketing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or related discipline; MBA or relevant work experience (Desired).
- 3 - 5 years relevant experience product marketing or product management responsibilities.
- Professional experience with electronic devices and/or data center industry is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis and ability to effectively communicate findings while tailoring to variety of different audiences is required.
- Demonstrated competence in written, verbal, and visual communication, problem solving, & project management.
- Positive, goal-oriented, data-driven, and reliable with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications.
